Rename projects

This topic explains how to change the project title and file name.

What do you want to do?

Change the title of a project

Open the project.
Choose File > Project Properties, click the General tab, and then enter your new title in the Title field.

You can view the file name of the project in Project Properties (on the General pane), but you cannot change the file name from within NVivo.

To change the name of the file, close the project and then use the Finder to locate and rename the .nvpx project file.
