Work with folders

NVivo provides a folder for each type of project item—for example, under Sources there are folders for Internals, Externals and Memos.

You can't delete these predefined folders, but you can add your own subfolders to manage project items like sources, nodes and queries.

What do you want to do?

Expand or collapse folders in Navigation View

When a folder contains subfolders, the disclosure triangle is displayed on the left of the folder.

In this example below, the Internals folder has hidden subfolders.

If you click on the disclosure triangle, the subfolders are displayed. Click it again to hide the subfolders.
