Set project passwords
You can set passwords to restrict access to a project. You can set the 'Read/Write' password, which allows full access to the project. You can also set the 'Read Only' password, which allows users to view (but not change) the project.
What do you want to do?
Understand project passwords
You can set the Read/Write password, or set both the Read/Write and Read Only passwords. You should set both passwords if you want to fully control access to your project.
If you set the Read/Write password:
-
Users with the password can change the project
-
Users without a password can open the project, copy the project or import data from the project
If you set both the Read/Write and Read Only passwords:
-
Users with the Read/Write password can change the project
-
Users with the Read Only password can open the project, copy the project or import data from the project
-
Users without a password have no access to the project
