Understand how the interface language is determined

NVivo for Mac (Version 11.2 or later) is available in English, French, German, and Spanish (Mexico). You can change the language that is used in the interface—for example, menus and dialogs within NVivo for Mac.

If you want to display NVivo for Mac in one of the languages listed below, then you need to add the language to your preferred languages list in Mac OS X System Preferences.

  • French

  • German

  • Spanish (Mexico)

The order of the preferred languages determines the language of the NVivo for Mac interface. If the first language in the list is not supported by NVivo for Mac, then NVivo for Mac will try to use the next language. If none of the languages in the list is supported by NVivo for Mac, then NVivo for Mac will display in English.
