Project Properties - Passwords

NVivo lets you set passwords to control access to your project.

Explanation

Read/Write Password

This password permits full access to the project. You can enter up to twelve alpha-numeric characters (the password is not case-sensitive).

To set the password:

Enter your password and then enter it again in the Confirm Password field, to ensure that you have entered it correctly.
To help you remember your password, enter a Password Hint—for example, the name of my first pet

To remove the password, click the Clear button.

Read Only Password

This password permits read only access to the project. You can enter up to twelve alpha-numeric characters (the password is not case-sensitive).

Before setting the Read Only password, you must set a Read/Write password.

To set the password:

Enter your password and then enter it again in the Confirm Password field, to ensure that you have entered it correctly.
To help you remember your password, enter a Password Hint—for example, the name of my first pet

To remove the password, click the Clear button.
